Check out a Couple of Minutes of Gameplay from Alan’s American Nightmare

If you have the strength to muster the less than radio-worthy narration in this video, you’re in for a treat. The changes to Alan Wake are nuanced, but don’t let subtlety fool you into thinking this is anything less than a continuation in story and in gameplay.
Look closely and you’ll spot refinement in combat, smoothing over of once stilted animations, and even a little stylistic flair. American Nightmare caught my attention the minute it rewarded solving a puzzle with Alan having to dodge exploding debris set to the beat of Kasabian’s “Clubfoot." February is mildly thin when it comes to releases. Maybe make room for some downloadable Wake.
