Max Payne 3’s Multiplayer Vignette: Online Gunmen Wanted
You’d almost think Rockstar had been pushing and delaying the return of gaming’s noir hero just to solely work on the multiplayer portion of the game because, well, it’s looking rather friggin’ good. I called bullshit the moment I heard the developer intended on implementing the series’ staple Bullet Time mechanic within multiplayer but hearing their compromise – which is to suck any player in your sight line into a horrible slow-motion bubble of death – has me itchy to John Woo dive in every direction imaginable.
You see, kids…Slow-motion murder is the only kind of murder that isn’t technically illegal. There’s no law book in the world that can overrule something so bombastically badass.
