Capcom and Slant Six, obviously afraid that you might think their team-based shooter is light on the action, have dropped a trailer of concentrated brutality for Operation Raccoon City.
Will this spin-off mirror the bump-in-the-night scares from Resident Evil’s PlayStation days? When you shove a grenade into a zombie’s mouth to make a crimson firework, no, you’re not likely to fear the night. It’s a lot like jumping from Romero’s Dawn of the Dead to Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead; less dread, more bullets. Some loyalists will embrace, newcomers will probably eat it up, and purists…Well, purists are liable shit all over it. Hopefully ORC doesn’t give them cause to.
